Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has opened up about one of the most difficult periods of her life, revealing that the only time she truly experienced poverty was during her marriage to her ex-husband.
According to Iyabo Ojo, the hardship initially felt like an adventure because she had never experienced poverty before.
"The only time I experienced poverty was when I married my ex-husband. At first, it was fun, like some sort of adventure. Imagine poverty being a journey when you've always known comfort," she said.
The actress has previously spoken about the challenges she faced in her marriage before eventually becoming a single mother and rebuilding her life and career.
Today, Iyabo Ojo is regarded as one of Nollywood's most successful actresses and entrepreneurs, with thriving businesses and a successful career in the entertainment industry.
